About Dr. Rosen
Following the footsteps of her father and grandfather, Dr. Rachel Rosen is a third-generation family physician and has been board-certified in family medicine since 2001. At Elkins Park Family Medicine, she is proud to offer expert and compassionate family medicine services to the community in which she was raised - Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.
She offers a comprehensive range of care for adults and children ages 5 and above, including preventive medicine; care for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and asthma; as well as women’s health services. Dr. Rosen also treats patients living with issues like depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
Dr. Rosen grew up in Elkins Park and graduated from Cheltenham High School before earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rosen went on to earn her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. She served as Chief Resident while completing her residency in family medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Rosen strives to help her patients improve their overall well-being and understands the connections among social, emotional, and professional lives with physical, mental and emotional health. She enjoys treating entire families and developing a deep understanding of their dynamics and how it impacts health and wellness. She has a friendly and open approach, which puts her patients at ease.
