Shortly after the reveal of the G80-gen BMW M3, the M Performance Parts division of BMW launched its own goodies for upcoming M3 buyers. Many of these parts are extreme and outlandish looking, which is intentional. While pristine examples have become absurdly expensive, you can still find high-mileage, but well taken care of, examples for affordable money and those are the cars you want. You want something to look new but have enough miles on it that not only is it easily affordable but you’re also not afraid to drive it, for fear of depreciating it. If you can find a car like that, it’s a home run classic.

The vehicle was exactly what I wanted, Eugene entertained all of my insane demands, and he worked with me on financing to make the sale. Eugene's style is straightforward, fact-based, and reasonable. No pressure sales, no distractions, no gimmicks. The amenities are nice, a big screen at his desk, snacks and drinks, and a comfortable waiting area.
A week or two after the sale, I got a tin of chocolate chip cookies in the mail. They were amazing - I'll buy my next BMW at Elmhurst just to get more cookies.

The first-ever BMW M5 CS is finally here and it’s just about the silliest, yet most exciting car that BMW M has developed in a long time. Much like its smaller M2 CS cousin, the M5 CS gets a carbon fiber roof, hood, rear spoiler, front splitter, rear diffuser and mirror caps.
Powering the M5 CS is the same 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 as every other M5, except it’s been massaged to make 627 horsepower, up just ten ponies, yet its torque rating of 553 lb-ft remains unchanged. According to BMW, though, its 0-60 mph time has dropped to 2.9 seconds, versus the 3.1 seconds flat for the M5 Competition. The BMW M5 CS sprints from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds, and from 0 – 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.4 seconds. Top speed is an electronically governed 305 km/h (189 mph).
