Empire Kitchen & Bath is looking to add countertop installers to a growing team. This position is responsible for installing Granite, Quartz, Laminate, and Solid Surface countertops. Removal of existing countertops, plumbing, and electric are also required on most jobs.
Qualifications:
-Previous installation experience preferred but not required
-Basic tool knowledge and measuring skills
-Critical eye for detail
-Effective time-management skills
-Demonstrate professionalism; must be able to communicate well with customers
-Ability to work as a team with other employees
-Valid NYS driver license

Empire Kitchen & Bath is looking to add a full-time digital countertop technician to our growing team. Empire Kitchen & Bath is a family-owned and operated business that has been designing and installing dream kitchens and bathrooms since 1996. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship, reliability and signature service has helped us achieve continuous growth throughout our years in business.
Job Responsibilities:
-This position is responsible for digitally templating kitchen and bath countertops using a digital LT2D3D Laser machine.
-Check scheduled appointments for the day and confirm with clients for templating
-Travel to client location to create digital file of countertop layout using the LT2D3D laser machine
-Discuss and finalize with client any design detail to create desired layout
-Take appropriate photos of any existing damages of the work site, areas that need to be addressed prior to countertop install.
-Provide clients with information about what needs to be brought to Empire Kitchen and Bath for a final meeting with the designer.
-Communicate all relevant information with the assigned designer upon return to the office.
-Finalize and plot CAD file onto vinyl plotter to allow customers to preview countertop selection.
Requirements:
-Current and valid driver’s license
-Previous Kitchen and Bath or construction experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Proficient with computers
-Must be detailed oriented
-Able to problem solve
-Able to read measurements/tape measure
