Muscle of the Week with Dr. Drew O'Bleness Wrist Extensors Wrist extensors! These bad boys are located on the top of your forearm and are responsible for flexing and extending your wrist, among other things. Individuals who spend quite a bit of time at a computer, lifting heavy items or twisting with your hands are more prone to experience stiffness and tension in these muscles, which could lead to pain. Dr. Drew has a few stretches that can help alleviate that tension and keep those muscle in good working order. #powerson

🥑 🥦 🥬 When creating a diet for your pregnancy, always make sure to focus on whole foods that are full of vitamins and nutrients that help you and baby stay healthy. 1. 🌱 Legumes: peas, beans, chickpeas, and other similar veggies are great for getting the fiber, protein, iron, folate, and calcium that you need during pregnancy. 2. 🐟 Salmon: salmon, when wild-caught, can be a healthy, clean source of omega-3 fatty acids. 3. 🍳 Eggs: again, always look for free-range and organic.
