A recent post from another local veterinary hospital was brought to our attention, regarding mistreatment of their staff by some clients. Sadly, our staff has been experiencing the same behavior, unfortunately on a daily basis, from clients in person and on the phone.
All of us at Erie animal Hospital have been hard at work, caring for your pet, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our dedicated staff has worked long hours, sometimes under-staffed, and with frequently changing restrictions and protocols.
We understand these times are difficult for everyone, and we have worked diligently to treat your pets and serve you to the best of our ability. If you are upset or experience a problem, please give us the chance to help find a resolution for you. We as employers cannot allow our staff to be bullied, sworn at, or called derogatory names. Please note that if this occurs, we have the right and duty to our staff to refuse future services, and to transfer records to another hospital.
Also, due to the pandemic, we were unable to perform elective procedures (routine vaccines, spays, neuters) from March through mid May. This has pushed our current availability for vaccine visits into October. We are doing our best to accommodate appointments as soon as we are able. Please be patient.
We greatly appreciate those of you who have been grateful, kind, and considerate in your dealings with us. Thank you for your understanding, and if our staff has done a good job, please let them know. If you have concerns for us to address, please reach out to our office manager or one of the practice owners, and we will gladly assist in resolving it.

Erie Animal Hospital is happy to announce we will be doing our annual costume contest again this year! It will run from the 19th of October to the 31st of October. Stay tuned for more information in the up coming weeks!!
Are you ready for our annual Halloween costume contest????
The contest will run from October 19th until the 31st, and will be exclusively online this year. Although we love seeing your pets come in dressed up, due to the pandemic pictures can only be submitted via e-mail (eah3024@yahoo.com) or through messenger on our Facebook page.
To be eligible for the contest, you must be a client and your pet examined at either Erie Animal Hospital or the AAA Animal Clinic within the past 3 calender years (2017, 2018, 2019, or 2020).
One cat and one dog with the MOST "likes" on our Facebook page by 3:00pm on October 31st will win an awesome prize!!!!!
Start submitting those pictures, we look forward to seeing all of our favorite furry friends dressed up!!!
