This weekend, we had the pleasure of being the host site for a reception honoring the accomplishment of local artist, Michelle Smith. Her entry was selected as the winner out of thousands of international submissions. The Design For Good by Ralph Lauren offered a limited edition printing with her design for COVID-19 relief and a donation to the UNCF.

Join us for a Drive-In Style Movie in the Park at Southwind Park! We’ll be showing “Aladdin” on Friday, September 18, 2020, movie will start around sunset, approximately 7:15pm.

We would like to introduce everyone to Fitz, the newest animal to call HRZ his home. This laid back guy is a Binturong (Arctictis Binturong) also known as an Asian bearcat. He is neither related to a cat nor a bear but has a face like a cat, body and fur like a bear, long white whiskers and a thick muscular prehensile tail. They are considered carnivores but eat mostly fruits. He a fascinating animal and will soon be joined by his partner Mai. He has been checking out his new exhibit all morning and we can’t wait for you to come and learn about these amazing animals. 🐻🐱
