As Americans, we love a good "Comeback Story". We love Rocky after he gets beat up and comes back to beat the odds. We love it when Luke Skywalker and the gang beat the evil Empire, and we love to hear about the young entrepeneur starting a lawn service in their neighborhood and paying their way through College. We know what hardship is, and we know the strength it takes to rise above and to win it all. Right now it seems like there are no comeback stories- just harship. Right now we are hearing about the losses, the failures, and the fallen. We are blinded by the haze of the battle and need some inspiration. There is hope- each of us have made the decision to drive forward. We are writing our "Comeback Story". The decisions we have made in the past few months to dust ourselves off and get back in the game are starting to pay off. In order for our communities to have a "Comeback Story", we must all push through the haze and inspire each other to win at all cost. Not only will your determination affect your future, but it will inspire all around you to band together and build a "Comeback Story" that will inspire Generations that come after us, just as we have been inspired by the grit and determination that forged our communities before us. The torch has been passed and it is up to us to overcome the odds.
