Dr. Hammell is chief of surgery at AHN Canonsburg Hospital. He provides surgical treatment for gall bladder, hernias, appendicitis, diverticulitis, colon and abdominal problems, burns, cysts, and breasts and skin lesions. He is skilled in laparoscopic surgery and treating burns, non-healing wounds, and pressure ulcers. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He speaks English.
