The past couple of weeks has been nothing short of Amazing! To see the amount of people coming together to lift up others in their time of need has truly been Beautiful. When you so freely give of your time and talents with no expectations is a true testament that the world isn't so bad after all. We can all come together with our small contribution and give in such a way that it may lift the spirits of others. People recognize the impact of their giving and continue doing it, and for that we say THANK YOU! For the meal preparations, countless cases of water, delivering of essentials, time, energy and effort, we are all forever Grateful!

Huge Thanks to everyone today that was involved in distributing lunch for displaced families impacted by hurricane Laura. Here at Evangeline Downs Hotel, we were able to pass out 50 plate lunches, also including 1 frozen meal, a snack pack, and bottled water. Our guests were grateful for the generosity of everyone involved. The St. Landry Parish community has truly showed up and showed out.
