Due to recent concerns regarding the health and safety of our community amid the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we want to assure you that everyone at Evergreen Eye Center is doing everything we possibly can to minimize the spread and to keep our patients and staff safe. Our clinics have always been cleaned on a regular basis and we have added additional measures to keep our facility sanitized and disinfected. Please be aware that these practices include monitoring the staff and patients that enter any of our five clinics. Coronavirus is a rapidly evolving global health issue that is affecting geographic areas differently; we are doing our due diligence to stay educated and informed. As part of that process, we suggest reviewing the latest CDC guidance to help us with our mission. CDC advice: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of upper respiratory infection and or fever please cancel and reschedule your appointment and stay home to recover. While we know potential cancellations and disruptions are not ideal, the health and well-being of our patients and staff must be our top priority. At this point, Evergreen Eye Center will remain open and will keep you informed should that decision change. We appreciate the community coming together for the safety of all those involved. Sincerely, Evergreen Eye Center CDC.GOV www.cdc.gov
