Cyril T. Sebastian, MD, is a board-certified neurological surgeon serving patients at Evergreen Spine and Neurosurgery Center in Shenandoah, Texas. Dr. Sebastian is a fellowship-trained spinal cord surgery subspecialist and has been practicing for more than a decade.
Dr. Sebastian completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before attending Tufts University Medical School for his Doctor of Medicine. Upon graduation, he began an intense seven-year residency in neurosurgery at Kansas University Medical Center.
Before specializing in spinal surgery, Dr. Sebastian served in the United States Navy for many years. He was the Department Head of Neurosurgery at the US Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan, and later a Staff Neurosurgeon and Assistant Professor in Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. After his service, Dr. Sebastian was accepted to Stanford University’s School of Medicine’s elite Spine Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Sebastian has been practicing neurological surgery since 2001 and has been practicing in Texas since 2010 when he founded Evergreen Spine and Neurosurgery Center. Having completed 12 years of intensive medical education, Dr. Sebastian has the most experience of any spine surgeon in southern Montgomery and northern Harris County.
