I love Middle School Matchup (MSM). I think they do a great job at promoting and putting on the tournament. For us as coaches and trainers there several things that stick out. We train kids all across DFW and almost every select organization and sports association. So to see those kids we coach and train go out and compete against their peers it put to test everything we preach in our training. First step, high school. 1) How did your son stack up against their peers. 2) What was your son’s level of understanding of the game compared to his peers (Situational hitting, base running, time management)? 3) If tomorrow was a high school tryout against those same kids, what is your son’s confidence level that he would be competing and winning a spot on the team? I saw kids that we have coached and trained in some capacity in the last few years since we started and it’s pretty cool to have made an impact on the boys lives. I’m interested to have from the parents out there...GO! David Rios Joel Pena Julio Reyna Grady Dunavant
The season ended for 12U - Sims today. Super proud of the boys this season. We went from playing AA two years ago to competing at the AAA/Majors level. From below .500 to sub .500 to 33-18 this season. We have traveled across the country and competed against teams from all over. We had all our boys play in MSM and they all performed well, many winning championships for their middle schools. We have gotten better by leaps and bounds each season, on and off the field. These boys have become young men. They earned the respect all the umpires and teams they faced. I can’t count how many times I was approached by coaches and umpires complimenting on how good our team was and how well coached they were. These kids know how to play baseball. Too many highlights to go through. Thanks to the parents who allow us coach, and trust the process of what we are doing. #ExcelEveryday#CoachOut James Sims David Rios Grady Dunavant
The 8U season came to an end today. But not before taking some more hardware home! Congratulations taking 2nd in the USSSA Dab It Up tournament. Boys fought hard all weekend through some ridiculous Texas heat. A lot of defense, great hits, and 100% hearts. These boys have grown leaps and bounds in one season. Proud of their growth and development. Thanks to all the parents who allowed us to coach their child and entrust is with making them better baseball parents. Thanks to the coaching staff for putting in all the time in effort to invest in these child’s lives. James Sims Grady Dunavant Brian Meisinger Cheree Sims Kristi Dunavant Susan Meisinger
