If you are an individual who struggles with issues that hold you back from health, wellness, then counseling might be the right next step on the path to wellness. I know it isn't always easy to ask for help but here you can find a caring and compassionate therapist who can help you to heal the struggles that hold you back from having a thriving life. At Excel Through Action, I help with a variety of mental health issues including:
Addiction and Co-Morbid Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Sexual Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Self Esteem Issues, Communication Challenges, Relationship Conflicts, Rebuilding Trust After an Affair, Anger and Resentment, Childhood and Adolescent Developmental Issues, Relationship Enhancement and Other Life Challenges.
I work with both individuals and their families to create a supportive environment in which the individual in treatment can heal, grow, and thrive. You really can receive empowering, effective, and problem-solving counseling. I take each client through my 5-Step Process towards Health:
Discovering the challenges and obstacles that keep the individual from creating health, wellness and harmony, including healing the core issues that keep him/her stuck
Supporting the individual in gaining new insights, creating new behaviors and responses, and taking new actions that set him/her on the path to healing, growth, and wellness
Creating an environment outside the therapeutic setting in which the individual’s healing and new behavior can be supported and sustained
Fostering the individual’s continued growth by encouraging him/her to take on new opportunities and challenges as he/she progresses on his/her healing path
Providing ongoing support as the individual expands and grows through the peaks and valleys of his/her sustained recovery.
If you think that counseling might be right for you or a family member, or if you are referring professional who has a client who needs additional support in the areas in which I specialize, please call me today for a complimentary consultation.
