We are making the 5 inch border around the circle!..it takes time to do this stuff!
We took our time and route 1/8 of an inch at a time, and did 4 passes then cut 🔪 it off at the end to save our bit.
We are building our border and figured it will take 12-13 pieces to complete it!...Nothing like having the right tools to do this!
We engineered our jig with double sided tape and used a pivot point bought at Wood Workers Emporium to make this work! Thanks to the people at Galleher’s for helping us find a jig to use!

A NEW INSTALL: Reward’s, 1/2” x 4” x 6” x 8” Napa Hickory Silverado. This is an 9 ply engineered wood floor, with a 3 mm wear layer that can be sanded several years from now. This is a super stable product with 9 ply’s and is glued down with Wakol MS-260, a glue that will not move like most urethane adhesives, and is bonded strong to the cement slab with the Wakol PU-280 moisture barrier!

REVIVING A WORN OUT FLOOR: This 20 year old Anderson distressed floor was abused by a rocking chair and wore through the stain and finish!...We brought it back to life, and saved the homeowner thousands of dollars!..We used all Bona products.
THE RESULTS: Super happy how this turned out!...it was a well thought out project!
Schönox Products: We are using AP Schönox hybrid self leveling product on this highrise project!
We used a 10 foot aluminum leveling bar to level the product over the low areas. Since we are installing a 1” x 12” wide planks that comes in 8 foot long planks, we had to make sure that the substrate is flat to make a successful install. Next will be the Ecore rubber pad for the sound barrier.
WAKOL PRODUCTS ON A HIGHRISE: I’m dancing around using a great product! Light weight concrete always chalks up and the concern is adhesion of glue to bond good with the substrate (light weight concrete). Wakol PU-280 is the fix, and acts as moisture barrier as well as making your substrate stronger and clean for a better install!
HERRINGBONE: There are many ways to do a herringbone. I like to find the center point of the room and start from there, especially if it’s in a small area like an entry!
Anyone know this guy? Always a great visit catching up on product knowledge! This guy knows a lot, especially all the other manufacturers products!
HARTCO WOOD FLOORING: Hartco’s Timber Brushed Collection, Lime Industrial Style plank is a very good product! It’s milled nicely and comes together easy. The finish is tough and looks great too with the white color in the grain! I would definitely would consider this wood flooring!
DeWalt Tools: This is a handy tool! The 20V battery hammer gun is very proficient and enjoyable to use!

COLORS: We can restore your distressed floors and even change the color by tinting the finish! This client wants the reddish plank to look brown!

GRINDING DOWN THE CEMENT: We are grinding with a dustles DeWalt grinder. Thanks for David’s good work, we are ready to roll on the Wakol PU-280!
SOUND BARRIER: We are putting down an Ecore sound barrier to help reduce noise in this theatre on the second floor. We are gluing it down with an urethane glue for the best adhesion!
SOUND BARRIER FOR THE THEATRE 🎭: We are about to put down the QT Ecore pad in the theatre! We rolled out the pad to let it relax over night before installing it.
TOOL: This the fastest way to get these pins out! He’s using a nail set I bought at a supplier!
