Meet our staff Monday!
Today we would love to introduce to you, our special lady Helen! She is in our housekeeping department and has been with us since before we opened our doors to the public.
Helen was born in Queens, New York and shortly after moved to Texas. She has been in Corpus Christi for 30 years now. Helen is a busy mom with 3 children and a husband of 18 years.
Helen's hospitality career started in restaurants and her quick wit and willingness to help others moved her to the hotel business. She has had over 21 years in hospitality experience and it shows. The hotels that she has worked for has been from small 40 room properties to hotels with over 100 rooms. She is dependable, kind, loves her guests and her coworkers.
Helen says that her favorite part of the hotel business is "Hearing guest stories about where they are from, it is exciting to meet people from all parts of the world."
Fun Fact: Helen is an artist and loves to paint on her free time. She also loves to cook for her family and friends.

I’m so proud of our staff for participating in our kickoff for CASA of the Coastal Bend . We are tackling child abuse this football season. All fundraising event proceeds will go to CASA ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Join us this Sunday at our kickoff event where we team up with Casa of the Coastal Bend to TACKLE child abuse! 🏈🏈🏈
We will give our employees opportunity each Sunday to turn in their work uniforms that day and show their team spirit with their favorite team apparel while contributing to a great organization. We will also have many other options this football season to donate and win free room nights from us. Stay tuned for more events these next few months, together we can be a voice to to our children of the Coastal Bend!

Meet our staff Monday!
We are proud to introduce our live mascot, Kizmet Avila! She was the idea behind Resi, our plush Schnauzer. Her purpose is to build and strengthen our brand identity through the awareness that we are a pet friendly hotel.
Kizmet was born in El Paso Texas but was raised here in Corpus Christi. She is new to the hospitality industry but is a quick learner. She is very likeable by all guests, two legged and four legged and to our employees. Her fun, energetic spirit breathes life into our hotel.
Fun fact: Kizmet means "Fate" in Turkish <3
Join us in thanking Kizmet for her hard work on making sure that we are up to par for our four legged guests! Keep them coming Kimmie!
