About

Archima Major, OD, FAAO is the experienced and innovative optometrist at the helm of Eye Innovations in Philadelphia and Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Dr. Major founded Eye Innovations and acts as chief executive officer. Her goal for the practice is to provide superior eye care and services to patients of all ages. She offers eye exams, contacts, and glasses, as well as ocular disease management that includes dry eyes, diabetic eye problems, glaucoma, and computer vision syndrome. 
Dr. Major earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry, graduating with honors from Temple University in Philadelphia. She went on to earn a second bachelor’s degree in visual science. Then, she earned her optometry doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University, in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Dr. Major completed her family practice optometry residency at Northeastern State University and the W.W. Hastings Indian Medical Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. 
Dr. Major believes in a collaborative approach to eye care. She offers her patients the latest innovative services using today’s most advanced technology. Dr. Major educates her patients so they can act as partners in maintaining the best eye health possible. She always strives to make Eye Innovations accessible, which is why the practice is social media-friendly and features real-time scheduling.  
Through preventive eye care, early detection, and expert management of eye health, Dr. Major helps her patients achieve a lifetime of healthy vision. Dr. Major and the Eye Innovations team warmly welcome new patients to the practice.
