Both cases were trauma to the teeth at a young age and teeth had root canals done on them. Since their jaw was still growing and changing, the teeth had been bonded but over time, teeth with root canals get brittle and chip. They can also change color. It is best to place a crown on root canal treated teeth because it is a stronger and more stable option.

These are Ceramic Maryland bridges. This patient has congenitally missing teeth. She had an option to do dental implants or bridges. Unfortunately, because of the roots of her teeth, there was no room for implant placement so we decided to treat her with Maryland bridges and she loves her smile!👄
