When you think of our mission statement and what it means to "To enrich lives through meaningful relationships and vibrant communities", you think of Diane Hudson. You know that she lives by that statement. She is our spotlight this time around for that reason and more. Our residents, associates and families cannot say enough great things about Diane. She is a valuable person in our community. Fairfield Place is lucky to have you!
Whenever we're listening to music, our community relations manager Debi usually stops by as she is passing through to sing a song, dance or both! 😀 👍 We think these two have some great moves. 💃 🕺

Our shinning star for the enrichment board this month is Steve Bademosi. Steve is our lead nurse, and is always helping out and working hard. He greets all the residents with a smile and each of them and their families all have such great things to say about him. He is a team player and a dedicated employee and we are just grateful to have him as part of the Fairfield Place team!
The residents and staff love our courtyard pumpkin display. We had so much fun taking our fall photos and we all love how sweet they came out. Today we are picking our pumpkins to either decorate or keep and roast the seeds.
A big 'thank you' to Burwinkel Farm for donating all the pumpkins for the pumpkin patch in our courtyard! We also picked up all our cornstalks, bales of straw and gourds from them while we were visiting their amazing farm. We are so proud of the relationships we gain from the families of our residents and thankful for the long-lasting bonds we have built with our extended families. 🧡
Every year we like to do some fun things for the community, especially the kids. We love to team up with our neighbors over at Jelly Bean Junction and they were happy to hear we had some goodies for the kids! Here are some of the residents hard at work making cute little ghost suckers. We absolutely love them! ❤️ 👻 😍 🍭
We surprised our Care Services Manager Bryan with a belated birthday celebration. He is always wanting to do something special for everyone else, so we wanted to make sure he knew we all appreciate everything he does for this team. Happy birthday Bryan!!

Thinking of brighter days and warmer weather! We're getting a jump start on spring with our beautiful mosaic butterflies. 🦋
Today we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a vital leader of the American civil rights movement and a catalyst for change, racial equality, and justice for all.
Dr. King's leadership brought about meaningful progress and his enduring message is a reminder of the importance of servitude. Dr. King once proclaimed to a crowd in Alabama, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" His call-to-action is more relevant now than it has ever been for our Enlivant community. We have a shared responsibility to help end the pandemic and create a sense of inclusion and belonging for all residents and employees. As an act of service, we call on you to help us protect our communities and each other, and do your part in getting the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to you.
We are committed to being the change we want to see in this world. We hope you can spend a few minutes today reflecting on Dr. King's message of peace and equality and bringing these ideas to life alongside us. #MLK
