UPDATE: Mara has been found!
UPDATE: Unfortunately we do have 1 cat unaccounted for. Mara, our shy black & white senior is missing. We are canvasing the area around the Shelter & will be putting out safe traps in an attempt to get her back. All other dogs & cats have been accounted for.
Thank you all for the words of support & the pictures of adopted babies. They are definitely keeping our spirits up as we work through the damage and inventory.
Folks, unfortunately the Adoption Center will be closed today (Thursday) due to a break in. The police are here working on the report. The trespassers did a lot of damage but we are working with police & our insurance company to get things back to normal as soon as possible. Please stay tuned. We'll keep you all posted as any news comes available. (*There have been multiple break ins near by, the police suspect the same group in our break in)
Some shelters throughout the country have come up with very cute ways of getting their shelter pups pictures out in the public eye. We have adopted our kids in fur coats from all over middle Tennessee... from the Nashville Humane Assoc and Williamson Co Animal Control. We love our "pound puppies" and get some pretty cute pictures of them on a daily basis. β€πΆπΆβ€

This is a wonderful way to show how many ways our furry family members enrich our lives, and how more businesses should see why some need our service dogs to complete everyday tasks. Thank you Lowe's for being a standup company and supporting not just our service animals but our veterans as well. Thank you for your service Clay and keep up the good work Charlotte Double high paws to you πΎβ€οΈπΎ
