Meet Jamie! Jaimie came to us from Reno, Nevada and has been part of the team since August 2017. She graduated from Everest College and moved to Henderson in 2012. Jaimie started off as our resident weight loss specialist and excelled at her position, which eventually lead to her promotion to our Back Office Lead. Outside of work Jaimie enjoys cheering on her daughter at soccer games, trying new restaurants and painting.

Here’s a breakdown of the different types of diabetes:
Pre-diabetes: Blood glucose levels are higher than what’s considered normal, but not high enough to qualify as diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes: The pancreas produces no insulin.
Type 2 diabetes: The pancreas doesn’t make enough insulin or your body can’t use it effectively.
Gestational diabetes: Expectant mothers are unable to make and use all of the insulin they need during pregnancy.

Dr. M. obtained his Doctor or Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University Nevada and his undergraduate degree from UNLV. He is an avid sports fan and loves watching college/pro football, basketball and soccer. Dr. M is trilingual and speaks English, Amharic, and Tigrinya. We are very excited to have him as part of our team.
