"when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing." James 1:2-4
AVVO Review: Fair Attorney 5.0 stars Posted by Ada May 6, 2016 I would recommend Gina Famularo as a Family Law Attorney. She is very knowledgeable and she is vey experienced in family law procedures. It was refreshing to see that not all lawyer are all about money and not the client. She worked with me on a payment plan and the retainer covered everything from the beginning to the end. She was very fair . I felt I could text her or talk to her when I had a question or concern no matter how minor it was. She listened closely to my concerns and reassured me that everything would be okay. I am happy to have found a great attorney like Gina to assist me with my divorce.

Did you know? Oftentimes, if a domestic violence restraining order is granted and there are children involved, the restrained party will be ordered to do something. This usually includes taking anger management classes, enrolling in therapy, and taking a parenting class. If the restrained party complies with the orders, he or she can return to court in a few months to get a less restrictive visitation order. "and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him." 1 John 3:22
Alicia Smith Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness I hired Family Law Matters twice because my ex was not only abusive, but also manipulative. The first time was for the divorce and they were there for me every step of the way. The second time was for a restraining order because he attacked me. I now have a 3 year restraining order against him. Sadly, I am now being dragged back into court, but do not have the financial support I need to rehire them. I wish I could have. Nonetheless, they were the easiest firm I had to deal with and they took good care of me and my kids
Congratulations on your case concluding! We are so happy you chose us to represent you. God Bless.

Did you know? A legal separation is litigated just like a divorce except both spouses must agree not to divorce. All the assets and debts are divided and spousal support orders are made. If there are children, custody and child support orders are made. Please note: this does not constitute legal advice, please consult with an attorney prior to making decisions regarding your case.
Did you know? Begin to think about what life will look like once you are no longer living with your spouse. If you have answers to some of these questions before you file, the process will go much smoother. Make sure you have an exit strategy- a plan of what steps are needed to make the separation possible. Did you know? Sometimes, a spouse will have to help with the other spouse’s attorney fees. Attorney fees may be awarded for various reasons. The most common is financial need. If one party earns more than the other, the higher-earning spouse may need to contribute towards the other spouse’s attorney fees. Debbie Morgan 6 months ago- Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I met with and hired Family Law Matters at my lowest time. They met with me, comforted me, and walked me through the process. They made the process simple for me and my kids. I did not want to fight and just wanted to separate from my now ex-husband. I did not realize how much of a drag he was on me. I hated going home because of the emotional stress he put me under. My attorney and paralegal here walked me through the process, handled all communications back-and-forth with my ex, and explained everything to me in details. I know I was a handful, but I am glad I chose this office over the other offices I met with. Thank you guys a bunch! 3
Sandy Michael Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I wanted to share my story because this office was a true blessing for me. I came from an abusive marriage. My ex made me out to be a suicidal bipolar mother. He got me arrested under false pretenses and took away my custody rights. When I hired this office I was desperate for help. From the beginning, they explained the process to me. They told me that they could help me get my children back and they delivered. They kept me sane during this incredibly horrible time. My paralegal and attorney were extremely responsive. Whenever I was depressed and sad, they comforted me. At court, I could not have asked for a better firm to represent me. They got the bogus restraining order dismissed AND I now have majority custody with supervised visitation to my sociopath of an ex husband. My children do not want to see him, but I know the law is the law. Without this office, I would have lost the most valuable thing to me in life, my children. If you want an office that will be at your beck-and-call, Family Law Matters is the best option. They came referred and delivered. Thank you all so much!
We are so happy your case has come to a close and are delighted you chose our firm to represent you. Wishing you the best always, Congratulations!
“And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds, and he was baptized at once, he and all his family. Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.” – Acts 16:31-34
