About the Practice
The goal of family medicine physician, Sultan Rahaman, MD, and his team at Family Medicine Solutions is to provide high-quality preventive and general health care to men, women, and families living in and around Longwood, Florida, and throughout Seminole County.
Dr. Rahaman is board-certified in family medicine and brings more than 28 years of experience in complementary and integrative medicine to Family Medicine Solutions. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Rahaman completed his family medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and at the University of Miami Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
In addition to family medicine, Dr. Rahaman offers other primary care services, including internal medicine, pediatrics, minor surgery, and geriatrics. Dr. Rahaman works with patients to prevent disease and promote overall wellness. He is an authorized United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) civil surgeon, who provides immigration medical exams to men and women seeking US citizenship. Dr. Rahaman also offers diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), skin tags, and skin cancer.
Dr. Rahaman offers physical exams, sick visits, genital wart removal, and mole removal. He also offers cutting-edge electrodesiccation of skin lesions, including skin tags, moles, and warts (both common and genital).
Dr. Rahaman is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, member of the Florida Medical Association, and the Seminole County Medical Society. He’s also a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
