Dr. William Lehrich is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon based in the Mission District of San Francisco, California, and San Leandro, California. He currently serves men, women, and children at his practice, Family Podiatry Center.
In 1969, Dr. Lehrich obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his graduate education at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco before becoming a doctor of podiatric medicine and finishing a residency at the California Podiatry Hospital.
In 1975, Dr. Lehrich began serving patients in San Francisco. Since 1981, and for over four decades, he has been engaged in his private practice the Family Podiatry Center, with two locations in San Leandro, and San Francisco, California.
Always active in his medical field, Dr. Lehrich was a podiatric consultant for the California Board of Podiatric Medicine, the State of California Enforcement Division, and the Musculoskeletal Committee at the California Industrial Medical Council. He was also on the board of directors for the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery, the San Francisco Industrial Claims Association, and the Health Care Foundation of San Francisco, Inc.
Dr. Lehrich is a former chairman of the Industrial Relations Committee at the California Podiatric Medical Association and a former quality examiner for the California Medical Review, Inc.
Maintaining his commitment to the local community, Dr. Lehrich is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association, and a former member of the California Pan-American Medical Society. He's also a qualified medical evaluator for the Industrial Medical Council in the State of California and a specialist in the diagnosis, treatment, and medical reporting of severe workplace injuries.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Lehrich can comfortably communicate with his diverse patients. He also treats seniors, patients with Medicare, and a range of activity levels and conditions.
