Hi, I'm Kristine Jennings and I’m ecstatic to be joining Family Promise of Clear Creek as the new case manager. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to develop a varied skill set and obtain experience in multiple areas. I have worked as a nanny, accountant, independent sales consultant, stay at home mom, teacher, and operations manager. Through these jobs I have attained a great understanding of different types people and the necessity to be able to adapt accordingly. I have an extensive volunteer background where I have assisted as a library coordinator, Girl Scout leader, Boy Scout committee chair, camp manager, treasurer, and several other positions. My desire to assist people lead me to obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Economics. I have a passion for helping people and tackling new challenges. I recently moved to the Seabrook area with my husband and our six children who range in ages from 22 to 12. I'm looking forward to serving my community Family Promise of Clear Creek!

We are beginning a new series of posts - for lack of a better title, "Teaching in Alaska". One of our volunteer's wife, Debi Kaufman, has been a teacher/principle/reading master for over 20 years and since her honeymoon in Alaska, dreamed of teaching there.
She is fulfilling this DREAM and has already left the area and begun her teaching assignment! She has created a blog that we will share chronicling her experiences and showing pictures of the beautiful, pristine Allakaket (it's actually ON the Arctic Circle!).

Welcome to Flight #2021. We are prepared to take off into the New Year. Please make sure your Attitude and Blessings are secured and locked in an upright position. All self-destructive devices should be turned off at this time. All negativity, hurt and discouragement should be put away. Should we lose Altitude under pressure, during the flight, reach up and pull down a Prayer. Prayers will automatically be activated by Faith. Once your Faith is activated you can assist other passengers. There will be NO BAGGAGE allowed on this flight. The Captain (GOD) has cleared us for takeoff. Destination GREATNESS.
