Leon & I have made it safely back to Decorah. After yesterday's rally, we spent the night at the Hampton Inn in Maumee, OH. This is a hotel where most educational DC trips spend their first night, & also the hotel we put relay drivers in when the kids trips drive back through the middle of the night. It is a hotel that most drivers know well & would normally stay at several times during the spring & summer touring seasons.
Today, after pushing through some strong rainfall, we were able to make a couple quick stops at our partner offices in Mishawaka & Naperville. The round trip from Decorah to DC and back ended up totalled just over 2000 miles.
I have also posted a few pictures that were submitted on the MRFA Facebook page by other operators that were also in attendance.
