In honor of Women's History Month, Faraci Lange has chosen to highlight the hardworking women in our firm!
Carrie M. Schreiner has been a Paralegal at Faraci Lange since 2018 and has had a career spanning over 35 years. She received her Associate's degree in Legal Secretarial Science from Monroe Community College and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from SUNY Brockport. Prior to working at Faraci Lange, Carrie gained experience in areas such as family law by working at Chamberlain, D’Amanda, Oppenheimer & Greenfield for over 20 years, the Monroe County Bar Association, Ashcraft, Franklin, Young & Peters, and in civil litigation at Leclair Korona Vahey Cole, LLP. She currently works to assist attorneys at Faraci Lange with motor vehicle accident cases.
In her free time, Carrie is a mannequin model. She moves like a robot to music and performs in the malls and at various local events. She also enjoys cooking.
Kathryn Lee Bruns is an Attorney at Faraci Lange who focuses her practice on wrongful death, vaccine injuries, product liability, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, consumer protection, and appellate advocacy. Katie is a former federal trial court and state appellate court law clerk, and is an expert in Federal and New York State practice and procedure. In 2018, Katie was named one of The Daily Record’s Top Women in Law. Some of her other accomplishments include being named to the 2021 Best Lawyers list, being recognized as an Upstate New York Super Lawyer and being appointed confidential law clerk to the Honorable David G. Larimer, then Chief Judge for U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, where she served the Court for 5 years. She is a member of The Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys and is a former member of the Judiciary Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association.
In Katie’s free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, yoga, and spending time with her husband and 6-year old daughter. Katie is also an avid birder and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory, a non-profit organization dedicated to ornithological research, education, and conservation.

Lesley Niebel is an Associate Attorney at Faraci Lange who is originally from Fredonia, New York. Lesley earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and has been practicing at Faraci Lange since 2015. Lesley acts as lead attorney on several child victim act matters and also focuses her practice on all other areas of personal injury law including car collisions, labor law, and medical malpractice.
Lesley lives in the city of Rochester with her boyfriend, Justin. In their free time, they like to go hiking, play sports, and spend time with their family and friends.
Christine L. Norton has been a Paralegal at Faraci Lange since 2016. She grew up in Sodus and Penn Yann and went on to graduate from SUNY Geneseo with a major in Political Science, and a minor in Sociology. Prior to working at Faraci Lange, Christine worked as a paralegal for Hirsch & Tubiolo, P.C. and within the litigation department for Phillips Lyttle, LLC. Her practice focuses on personal injury cases, no-fault accidents, and vaccine cases, as she works directly with attorneys on these matters.
In her free time, Christine enjoys teaching karate and women’s self-defense classes, spending time on Keuka Lake or just outdoors, day trips to find new places to enjoy and spending time with family.

Kelsey M. Brigandi is an Intake Coordinator and Office Assistant at Faraci Lange who helps with administrative tasks and welcomes clients and guests at the firm. She graduated from Monroe Community College in 2017, receiving an Associate's Degree in Office Technology and Administrative Assistance. Prior to working at Faraci Lange, she worked as an intern for the Secretary of Monroe Community College Nursing Department. Prior to joining Faraci Lange, Kelsey worked at Panera for 5 years as an associate trainer.
In Kelsey’s free time, she enjoys being outside, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Ann Steinmetz is a Legal Nurse Consultant at Faraci Lange who joined the firm in 2003. Prior to joining the firm she enjoyed a rewarding clinical career caring for critically ill trauma, burn, transplant and other types of surgical patients. She graduated from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Nursing in 1991. After graduating, she worked the surgical intensive care unit at the University of Virginia Medical Center and later worked in the Strong Memorial Hospital in their SICU, later as a Liver Transplant Coordinator and finally on the Burn and Trauma Intensive Care Unit. Ann has assisted in the investigation and litigation of dozens of complex medical malpractice cases over her career. Additionally she has assisted with numerous medical product liability suits and vaccine injury cases.
In Ann's free time, she enjoys sun, cycling, hiking, travelling, gardening and family.

Morgan S.T. Ross is an intern at Faraci Lange. She’s currently a Freshman at the University at Buffalo, and is pursuing a major in Communication and a minor in Law. During her time at Faraci Lange, she has worked to create monthly newsletters and review calls while balancing school. Her hard work has earned her a position on the Dean’s List for the Fall semester. In her free time Morgan enjoys reading, graphic design, and baking.
Jenny Fay is an Attorney at Faraci Lange with a concentration in medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. She graduated from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2007. Jenny has helped injured plaintiffs in medical malpractice and wrongful death claims since she was admitted to practice law in 2008. Jenny has experience in all phases of civil litigation, including trial practice in state courts and appellate advocacy.
Jenny was selected as a member of 2020’s Legal Elite of Western New York by Business First and the Buffalo Law Journal. She was selected as an Upstate New York Super Lawyer in 2019 and 2020 and also as a Super Lawyers’ Rising Star from 2015 to 2018. Jenny is currently the president of the Western Region Affiliate NYSTLA and is a current member of the Bar Association of Erie County, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. She served on the Board of Directors for the Bar Association of Erie County from 2017 to 2020.
In Jenny’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has two young children, Milton and Maddie, who always keep her busy. Family activities that everyone enjoys doing (most of the time) are skiing, bike riding, swimming, playing at the park, and going on hikes. Jenny also enjoys running when she finds time and her knees allow her to.
