National Mutt Day 🐾 encourages us to embrace, save and celebrate mixed breed dogs twice a year on July 31st and December 2nd.
Desperately longing for a new home, millions of loving and healthy mixed breed dogs in shelters wait for someone to come and adopt them. National Mutt Day provides an excellent opportunity to find the perfect canine companion.
While their lineage cannot be traced and their features a bit murky, their companionship will be full of love! Our goal is to provide coverage for your pets. Give us a call for a free quote to protect your canines, felines, and more! (503) 256-5672
National Father-In-Law Day on July 30th recognizes your spouse’s father annually.
Fathers-in-law bring a new perspective to our lives. Whether we are a new addition to their families or made bonds a long time ago, they grow to have an honored place in our hearts.
For National Father-in-Law Day, celebrate the father-in-law in your life. Is your most valuable asset, your family, covered in case of emergency?
National Love is Kind Day is the day to:
- Celebrate for all victims of domestic violence/domestic abuse their FREEDOM, COURAGE, and INDEPENDENCE.
- Recognize our right to be treated with KINDNESS. Because real love is kind, not terrorizing.
- Realize that kindness is the path to healthy and safer relationships, families, society, and the world.
- Give voice for and hope and support to others who are still suffering, often in silence.
- Spread messages how we can be kind to one another, especially to those closest to us.
We support and applaud survivors of domestic violence and abuse for their bravery! May we treasure each and every day, and spread love.
❤️🎊Happy Parent's Day!!🎊❤️
Today honors all parents, always on the fourth Sunday in July. No matter where our parents may be, this day serves to celebrate their important role in our lives.
In May we celebrated mothers, and in June we celebrated fathers. It follows that in July we can bring all our parents together and show them some appreciation all at once.
We encourage everyone to take a moment out of their day to send a thank you to a loved one in their lives. We appreciate all of the wonderful parents out there!!
It's Amelia Earhart Day! ✈️
Amelia Earhart Day honors the achievements of the aviation pioneer on the date of her birth.
Amelia was the first woman to successfully pilot her way on many voyages, but most infamously from Grace Harbor to Ireland! Back then the trip took over 14 hours!!
In 1937, Earhart attempted to circumnavigate the globe. Unfortunately, her Purdue-funded Lockheed Model 10 Electra disappeared over the Pacific Ocean near Howland Island in July.
Take a moment to relax in the shade or the sun & enjoy National Hammock Day! 🌿
#funfact: The hammock dates back thousands of years to Central America where it protected people from creatures and dirt. However, the netted bed didn’t find Europe until explorers brought it back in the 17th century. Not long after, the hammock found its way onto naval ships, providing comfort and maximizing space.
We hope you're able to take a moment today to unwind whether that means napping in a hammock or reflecting on your week.
