The wind has really kept a lot of boats on the inside. Those able to get on the hot Raritan Bass bite have enjoyed a pretty consistent bite on the troll, live or chunk bunker, and even on the jig.
West of Jones hotspots #pinkhotel #roundhouse #abreef are full of bait and some die-hards have reported sporadic hook-ups on the spoon/mojo and combo’s. That local fishery should be full of fish shortly. Get your gear ready and support your local baitshops once their doors open. Follow the regs and stay the f*^k off the radio if you have nothing of substance to share.
Our local back bays have had several reports of a strong fluke bite with many above 20”.
