With many small businesses struggling as a result of stay-at-home orders designed to help deter the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Farmers® will provide additional relief to more than 115,000 of its Business Insurance customers under its Farmers Cares initiative. Business customers in the restaurant, office, retail and service sectors across the country will receive a 20% credit on applicable monthly prorated premium on their Business Owners Policy (BOP) for the next two months on their upcoming premium notices.
"We understand how challenging running a business can be, particularly in these extraordinary times, and we want our Business Insurance customers to know Farmers cares and we want to help," said Sharon Fernandez, Head of Business Insurance for Farmers®. "For the next two months, many of our Business Insurance customers will see a 20% premium reduction on applicable monthly prorated premium."
Restaurant, office, retail and service Business Insurance customers do not need to take any action to make this credit effective on their policy, it will be done automatically by Farmers. As conditions continue to evolve, Farmers will monitor events and will respond appropriately. Customers with questions can call 888-327-6335.

2020.... What a rollercoaster. More unexpected changes/challenges than I knew possible. More work hours in a day than a part time job and the reminder that plans and life are not always in your control. Leaving the house at 1am and driving to the office on New Year’s Morning, had me thinking...What has 2020 taught me? Although a lot came to mind, I had to narrow it down to gratitude. Grateful for so many things, toilet paper, health, a career I love, clients to serve and a sustaining God. I am beyond grateful for supportive family, friends, clients and especially my wife. Although expresses concern of the countless all-nighters and minimal sleep this year has gifted me with, just to keep up with all the changes. The encouragement and support from her and so many others - mixed with the ability to help each and every client in their time(s) of need, makes each day worth it. These changes and challenges are all short term and looking forward to this year and the years to come. For all of us to look back at the year of COVID as lessons gratitude and to be thankful for each day. I Cannot thank you all enough. May your 2021 be full of blessings as we all move forward together.
So grateful for this opportunity. It's been 1 year now of ownership and quite the year at that. Lots of unexpected changes, twists and turns. Hardly a day goes by that Addison doesn’t ask. “Daddy!? Do you have meetings today?” Followed by “Can I please come to work with you today?!” Her world (and mine) lights up when I can say, “ hurry and go get dressed, you can come” Monday was even more special when the notification popped up and a “memory photo” of that the same day, 2 years ago reminded me she was there with me too. ❤️😍🥰🥺 Liz Fenton
