Finally got the opportunity to come out again and visit my good friend and client @azucanelachurros since the pandemic started. We have kept in touch through out the last several months. Like any other business COVID caught them by surprise. But they have adjusted and continue to move forward. I am looking forward to their continued success. 🏆

“LA LOTERIA” you see growing up our family played this board game almost every weekend. We’d get together at our abuilitas house with all of our tias, tios and primos. Our tias played “el domino” our tios played “la Baraja” and us kids would play La Loteria.
You picked a card with 16 squares, you had 16 raw frijoles next to you, and your loose change to bet on each game. You flipped an individual card from a deck of cards, and if the individual card showed one of the pictures in your squares you put a frijol there. Whoever filled their card first with all 16 frijoles would yell out Loteria and win the pot of loose change. Man this brings back so many memories.

Don’t you just hate when you are driving down the freeway and a rock or a piece of something flys onto your windshield and cracks it 😮🚗☄️
Did you guys know that if you have the right coverage on your auto insurance policy your insurance company can either fix it for free or pay for most of it? In my case they had to replace the whole windshield. Best part is they can come to your office or home to take care of the job.

I am not much of a book reader. Once I got my bachelors degree I never really opened up a book to read with the purpose of growing from it.
When I started my insurance agency I figured if I showed up every day and worked hard, I’d be successful. And I have reached a certain level of success. But in order to keep growing I decided I needed to read more books with the purpose of growing personally and professionally.
Two books I read this past year that have helped me are “The E Myth Revisited” by Michael E. Berger and “Power Position Your Agency” by Troy Korsgaden. These two books have given me guidance and helped me set up a few new systems in my agency. I look forward to reading more books. And I am especially looking forward to the continued changes and struggles that will allow me to grow. 💯📕🤓
