SOLICITOR ALERT:
The Village of Oswego has received reports of solicitors going door to door telling residents that they are there on behalf of the Village and asking for water samples. The solicitors then claim to test the water and tell the residents that their water is undrinkable and they need to purchase a new filtration system or softener.
None of this is true.
The Village of Oswego never sends solicitors door to door to sell anything, and and our high-quality water is tested every day during the treatment process to ensure your safety. Oh yeah, we like to think it’s pretty tasty, too! 💧
You can report solicitors who are misrepresenting themselves to the Oswego Police Department at 630-551-7300. Solicitors are prohibited from knocking on doors with a No Solicitors Invited sign.
