The legal community is not immune to the impact current events. Please know that the Iowa Court system is accessible to all regardless of what is occurring. How local attorneys are keeping up in the pandemic
The United States and Iowa is in uncharted waters when in comes to our legal system. The Iowa Supreme Court issued an order continuing all non essential hearings and trials until April 20 (criminal) and May 4 (civil). There are jokes to be made for 4/20 and May the 4th be with you. But in all seriousness regardless of party and politics we all must exercise caution. Caution includes washing hands and limiting contact.
Police and the Courts will continue to function. Additionally, Farnslaw.com will as well. I am proud to have invested into cloud based infrastructure that will allow me to continue to service my community. Hopefully Covid-19 will trail off and our system will of fair access to the courts will quickly come back online.
