Happy holidays everyone!
As we approach the end of this unprecedented year, we’re taking a moment to reflect.
Even before the pandemic, Fatzo’s had a rough start to 2020 when it was discovered that an employee had been stealing for almost a year. Just as we began to bounce back from that, we made the tough decision to close per the governor’s “Safer at Home” order.
We reopened May 5 and you all came back to support us full force and with gracious understanding of our new safety protocols.
You also took the time to vote for us in The Best of Door County 2020 and thanks to all of you we won Best Sandwich, Best Pizza, Best Catering and we even received runner up for Best Burger 🤯
With the accolades and an appearance on Channel 26’s “Take Out Tuesday” we saw a wave of new faces come through our doors. We weren’t the only ones; Door County had a record number of visitors this summer. Unfortunately, that was coupled with severe staffing shortages and Fatzo’s wasn’t immune.
Our tiny staff worked (literal) overtime learning a brand new computer system with online ordering and all new Covid safety protocols. We have been so fortunate that not one member of our staff has gotten sick during any of this, especially because many other businesses haven’t been as lucky.
It was a challenging year; I’m sure we can all agree. One thing this year has taught us is that we need other people. We need their friendship, their support, their nearness. We appreciate you all. We also learned that we need to take care of ourselves so we can be there for others.
In the spirit of that, our staff will be taking the next two weekends off for a little end of 2020 rest and recharge. Here’s to a better 2021 filled with joy, love, and endless possibilities.

Spicy Luigi is also available in a milder version. The Luigi has mozzarella instead of pepper jack and does not have jalapeños.

Grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and your choice of fat free ranch or Parmesan peppercorn dressing.
Get it on a sub bun, wrap, or go bun less and ask to have it made as a salad.
You can even have the bread or wrap toasted!
