Dr. Imelda Tan earned her degree in physical therapy at St. Paul University Iloilo in Iloilo City, Philippines in 2001. Three years later in 2004, Imelda came to New York City to continue to develop her physical therapy skills and expertise. As a New York State licensed physical therapist, she remains dedicated to learning new techniques aimed at helping her patients achieve optimal results, maintaining an active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). In 2016, she received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College along with certification for specialization in Corrective Exercises.
Dr. Imelda Tan accepts major insurance plans and is fluent in both English and Filipino with a clinical knowledge of Spanish.
