Our friends at Figspeed Speed Shop attended the Best in the Desert event last weekend. At this level of off-road racing, drivers and teams spare no expense on their vehicles. We are less then two weeks away from the California Gold Rush Event at Sonoma Raceway. Here are some tidbits about the event that many are asking--
-$575 total entry fee to race Friday $10,000 to Win/Saturday $20,000 to Win/Sunday $10,000 to Win events. You can also run free of charge on Thursday and make your time runs.
-Each day will be a Door Car/Dragster final. No Box (no dragsters allowed), Door Cars and Dragsters will all run separate from one another. The no box winner (winner receives a $500 bonus) will then continue into the Door Car side. Door Car winner vs Dragster winner each day for the final.
-Thursday Figspeed Speed Shop $25,000 to Win Shootout is completely separate from the Fri/Sat/Sun races. The entry fee is $625 and 64 names will be drawn from the list this Wednesday, text me to be put on the list. 510.912.4160
-Two drivers can share the same car. One driver can race two cars. Two entry max per driver.
-Fridays time run and buybacks we be a "game time" decision. If you do not run Thursday, you will be guaranteed a time run Friday morning. Car count will determine if all racers on the grounds will be receive a time run Friday morning and also potential buybacks throughout the weekend. We have a 7pm curfew each evening and we will make the best decisions possible to finish the race each day by curfew.
-3rd Round Winners get paid each day Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday will be live streamed by Warren Evans at Dragracer.tv. Thanks to Kevin D'Adamo at B&G Tire Stores for everyone at home to enjoy the races.
-If you are racing at the National Open at Sacramento Raceway Park this weekend you can come directly to Sonoma Raceway Drag Racing afterwards and be put into the holding lot. We will start parking Wednesday afternoon.

Looks like a new project for the Polaris RZR 🤘🏻. Going to try laying this #rondavisracing radiator nearly flat in the back. Trucks do it so it should add at least 100hp to our little NA girl 🤷♂️. Thanks to Figspeed Speed Shop for helping with this setup👊🏻🇺🇸
