About

Find the Children is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the recovery of missing children and to the prevention of the abuse and endangerment of children. Find the Children assists families searching for missing children by helping them to access local and federal law enforcement, advising them on the appropriate legal documents, and connecting them with other non-profit organizations or community resources that may help them in their search for their children. We educate parents and children on child safety, and work closely and in conjunction with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Big thanks to @LAsBEST and @thegalencenter for another successful event! Find the Children’s speakers had a great time at the 17th Annual Family Health Festival. Founded in 1988 by Mayor Tom Bradley, the festival provides children and their families the opportunity to learn and practice healthy habits within the confines of a safe environment. Looking forward to next year!

You can help protect the future of children by supporting Find the Children. We can’t do it without you. We are morning the loss of Gabriel who was killed in 2013. Jurors are set to begin deliberations Tuesday in the trial of a 37-year-old man charged, along with his girlfriend, with the torture-murder of her 8-year-old son. Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami began his closing argument Monday by displaying a photo of Gabriel's battered body lying on an autopsy table -- covered in injuries head to toe -- as evidence of Aguirre's intent to kill the boy. A prosecutor called the defendant an "evil'' man who "liked torturing'' the youngster and did so systematically in the months leading up to the child's death. http://bit.ly/2hyDtwW Fox 11 Los Angeles is with Matt Johnson.
