It is time for our annual Block Out The Sun campaign. For every $1 that you donate to Luekemia Lymphoma Society we will put the "I'm Helping Beat Cancer" card on our windows at the office. We are selling homemade pickles, jam and peppers here at the office. All proceeds will go to LLS fight to beat cancer. We do this in honor of Mark Nelson. Obituary for Mark A. Nelson at Waite & Son Funeral Home - Brunswick Chapel
So many of you have helped us raise money for Leukemia Lymphoma Society over the years by purchasing peppers, jelly or during our yearly drive to "Block out the Sun" by donating a $1 that would purchase a tag we would post on our windows here at the office. We did all of this in support of Dawn's husband Mark. Many of you may remember that Mark was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer, over 9 years ago.
Last Friday Mark lost his long fought battle and passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He was so blessed to have had such support from so many of our clients and friends here at the office. In the last year Mark was at the office with Dawn quite often and many of you were able to spend a moment with him telling a funny story or offering a kind word of support. These wonderful gestures were not lost on any of us. Our moments here were special and never taken for granted. Our family would like to thank you for all of your support over the years to Mark and Dawn. We will continue with our mission to support The Leukemia Lymphoma Society in honor of our own hero, Mark Nelson. His team Love 2 Live will continue on in his name.
