Discover the majesty of Firestone Country Club and play where the pros play.
We've extended the golf season! Weather permitting, all three courses will be open for play through November 29th, with each course being closed for one week due to aerification.
If you've ever wondered about aerification, here's an explanation from our Director of Golf Course Operations, Larry Napora: Aerification achieves three important objectives: it relieves soil compaction, it provides a method to improve the soil mixture around the root and it reduces or prevents the accumulation of excess thatch. Aerification is a mechanical process that creates more air spaces in the soil to promote deeper rooting, which helps the grass plants stay healthy.
We can't wait to see you on the courses this Fall 🍂

Play the South Course like the Pros! Here's a tip for the Arnold Palmer named "Monster" #16, the signature hole at Firestone. The extension of the tee now brings the bunkers into play, which are approximately 280 to 290 yards off the tee. A long iron second shot down the hill must avoid a creek on the right and stay short of the pond that guards this small green. The front right pin is the most challenging. Play the North Course like a Pro! Here's a tip for #4: This dogleg left requires an accurate tee shot. Any shot left will have trouble with a huge bunker or trees. Any shot right will run through the dogleg possibly behind more trees. The second shot will be to a green guarded by a front left and back right bunker. What other North Course tips do you have? Share them in the comments below 🏌️♂️⛳
