Curbside Service Improvements!
A week ago today we hired a new team member to start with us in a NEW position. Annita is our new Receptionist / Parking Lot Attendant! You will likely meet Annita when she greets you at your vehicle when you pull in. If she’s helping another client, please call or TEXT a NEW clinic cell phone number (253-316-9369) with your name, your pet’s name, space number and who you’re here to see (appointment with doctor, surgery or technician) and she’ll send a team member out to get your pet checked in. When Annita is off or on a break, this phone will be monitored by another reception team member. We hope to have an evening / weekend attendant hired soon.
For those of you who have recently experienced this new service, how is it working?
We truly hope that this helps with our response times and helps to keep our hold times low for our valued clients. Thank you all for your continued patience and loyalty as we navigate this very different approach to care!

I can't say enough nice things about Firgrove.
They saved my dog a couple of years ago; he had an intestinal blockage, which often requires surgery, but the doc took a more conservative approach and was able to remove the blockage without major surgery. They even called me several times in the ensuing weeks just to check on him, and that really meant a lot. 😁
Today, I had an emergent issue with my usually sweet but sometimes completely insane kitty. They got us in right away and got her all fixed up.
Both times the bill was very reasonable. I'd pay anything to take care of my babies, but I'm on a low fixed income, so the fact that the bill was so low was a welcome surprise.

Wonderful clients, we’re in need of some feedback! Today we had a client come in who had received confirmation messages through our automatic confirmation system that did NOT reflect the time her appointment was in our schedule for. I’m in contact with the company who provides this service through our database - they’re not seeing the glitch and are unsure why this would happen, but it did to this client and I personally saw the messages. Unfortunately I was unable to turn it around for this client before she left.
Have any of you had a problem like this? All messages, whether from our staff through this service or automated reminders, come from “505-53”. Messages from our office staff through this service do NOT come through with the message “Reply 'C' to Confirm - Reply 'U' to Unsubscribe” but automated messages from Rapport DO.
Please let me know if you’ve had this problem - I don’t want anyone else to experience this and am working on a way to fix it.

Dog food contamination leads to voluntary recall
Plenty of snow here at Firgrove this morning making it an interesting day for curbside to say the least. However, our fearless leader has arrived with her tractor and is clearing the parking lot as we speak. That’s right, Dr Shirley is out here with John clearing a path. We are so thankful for (and amused by) this awesome woman. Thank you Dr Shirley!

They are amazing! They have always taken the best care of our animals. Most recently our 13 year old Dalmatian was seen because he suddenly couldn’t walk. They are patient and truly care about animals.

I wanted to write a review because the care our pet is currently receiving is incredible. We noticed our 2 year old mastiff pitty was sick last week and after a few days of her symptoms getting worse, I took her to Firgrove. They are not our usual vet that we use but I haven't been happy with our other one and I've always been happy with their service at Firgrove so I'm switching.Turns out our girl was sicker than we thought with liver failure and high enzyme levels. We still do not know after almost a week what caused this. She hasn't gone anywhere, hasn't eaten anything as far as I am aware, and luckily Lepto was negative. Dr. Marsh and the staff have been amazing to us and have done everything they can for our fur baby. Communication is phenomenal and we receive daily updates. We recently had her litermate brother Rocco at Summit for a ACL surgery which unfortunately happened to have complications afterwards and the communication there was not always great. That was over $7K and months and months of recovery to only be hit with this now. However; I trust she is in good hands and they will do everything they can for her. We even got to visit her which soothed my anxiety of loosing her so suddenly. So, thank you!!!
