MEET ALBERT DORIA JR.
Owner Albert Doria, Jr. is the President and CEO of Gulf Coast Insurance in Naples, FL. Opening Gulf Coast Insurance in 2000 and later expanding into South Carolina by founding First Carolina Insurance in Lexington.
Albert attended Charleston Southern University, where he played football and became President of the student body before graduating in 1994 with his B.S. degree in Business Administration. He stepped directly from college into the industry where he would establish his career.
Initially hired by the Charleston office of State Farm Insurance to handle auto, home, business, and life policies, his flair for responsibility quickly saw him handling property damage and bodily injury claims for the company. It became obvious to Albert that his niche in business lay with his expertise in handling the insurance concerns of families and businesses, so in the year 2000, he returned to Naples and founded his first insurance agency, Gulf Coast Insurance, which he continues to own and operate.
Now, Albert has returned to the state of his Alma Mater to serve families and businesses in the Lexington area. Albert is married to Jennifer Lucas Doria who is a recently retired teacher from Lexington School District One and they have 5 kids who all attend Lexington 1 Schools.
