It may be chilly and cloudy but that won’t stop us from having fun!
Looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team. Must be available weekends (Saturdays & Sundays), as well as one to two weekdays. Must be comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds as well as cats; must be able to lift minimum 35 pounds without assistance (bags of dog food); must be able to walk and stand for several hours at a time unassisted, and must be able to work independently.
Job responsibilities include basic animal care, administering medications, supervising doggie day camp play groups, basic cleaning and housekeeping tasks, and basic customer service and secretarial tasks. Prior experience with animals is preferred.

I am sure some of you have noticed things are a bit different at the Pet Lodge this week. I know many of you and your dog’s adore Chris, but unfortunately Chris’s personal life has taken a change and he will no longer be employed at the Pet Lodge. I would like to assure everyone that your dogs will be getting the same excellent care they always have gotten at the Pet Lodge, we have a great team here who are committed to your pets! We truly appreciate your business and your faith in us to care for your pets.
To our Day Camp Customers, if you pay for your Camp via punch card please contact me as soon as possible, it seems we have a bit of a bookkeeping issue at the moment that we are working hard to get corrected.

First Class Pet Lodge and Doggie Day Camp has a position available for ANIMAL CAREGIVER/CUSTOMER SERVICE. Position available is part-time with the potential to become full time.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Monitoring and executing the daily needs of animal companions in our care, such as keeping record and administration of medications, feeding , freshening water, and daily exercise. Supervising large groups of dogs at play for both social boarding and Doggie Day Camp. Cleaning and sanitizing indoor kennels, kennel building, and play yards. Laundry and washing dishes. Giving time and attention to each individual animal companion in our care. Transporting animals when necessary.
Interacting with clients by checking in and out our guests. Answering the phone and scheduling guests. Some weekends and holidays are required. Some split shifts involved.
