1903 Barber 50C PCGS PR66+ . . . . Proof Barber Half Dollars dated 1903 had an original mintage of 755. THAT IS IT. A whole year of mintage and only 755 were created. In 1903, the Mint produced mostly brilliant Proof Half Dollars, with very few Cameos mixed in (these were early states of the dies before they self-polished as more and more coins were struck). Deep Cameo Proofs are unknown and may not exist. PCGS MS66+ is a pop ONE. In a CAC there are only 6 finer than this rarity. With so many different silver pieces minted in our countries history, it’s hard to decide which route to go when building a set or series. Proofs are fun, low mintage and very affordable… plus, they’re GORGEOUS! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1936 Norfolk 50C Commemorative MS68 PCGS . . . . The interesting thing about Norfolk half-dollars is that they are the highest quality commemorative in terms of condition. In fact, the average grade for Norfolk’s is Gem MS65 to Superb Gem MS67. And MS68s aren't exactly rare either. This is probably due to the fact that the design is so busy. There is so much going on with the design that there isn't a lot of flat field space. It’s not every day you see a back issued coin in such a high grade. This piece in a MS68 with PCGS is a population 212 but with the CAC sticker it drops the pop to 85 which is the finest known specimen! The craziest thing about that is, you can own a coin like this as a FINEST KNOWN for pennies on the dollar! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1936 Lynchburg 50C PCGS MS67+ . . . . The Lynchburg Commemorative Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Lynchburg, Virginia charter. In 1936 Lynchburg, Virginia celebrated the 150th anniversary of receiving a city charter, with festivities held in the fall of that year. Part of the celebrations included the issuance of a commemorative half dollar, something quite commonplace in this year, even if the subject commemorated was of mostly local interest. In this, the Lynchburg, Virginia Sesquicentennial Commemorative Half Dollar is nothing special. However, there is one particular aspect of significance in the fact that the man who appears on the obverse of the coin, Senator Carter Glass, is only one of four living persons ever to be portrayed on United States coinage. We love #funfacts here at #FFR! Out of the 20,013 original mintage, only 24 exist graded 67+ by PCGS and only ONE finer. THAT ISN’T EVEN THE CAC NUMBERS!!!! Low, low, low pops and extreme affordability…. That’s the Lynchburg Commem! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1923-S Monroe Commemorative 50C PCGS MS65 CAC . . . . The California film industry promoted this issue in conjunction with a motion picture exposition held in June 1923. The obverse shows the heads of James Monroe and John Quincy Adams, who were identified with the Monroe Doctrine. The Western Hemisphere is portrayed on the reverse in forms that suggest two female figures. Many of the unsold coins were released into circulation at face value. Original mintage of 274,077 and in a MS65 CAC, it has a population 89 with only 23 finer in a MS66 (22) and MS67 (1). #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1871 $10 Liberty PCGS AU55 . . . . Typically, when you talk about half ounce gold coins you mainly think of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of coins minted. This 1871 is SUPER rare. Whopping original mintage of 1,790 and in an AU55 condition with PCGS you’re talking a population 6 with only 3 total finer. Displayed here is one absolutely stunning specimen. Lady Liberty is just smiling knowing how beautiful she looks! Just like the owner of this piece! Hard not to smile when you hold this bad-boy in your hand. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1865-S $20 Liberty Gold PCGS MS63 . . . . Based on the total number specimens known, the 1865-S is one of the most common Type I Double Eagles from the San Francisco Mint. Though the mintage is higher on this coin (1,042,500 original) it is very difficult to locate one of these coins with good eye-appeal. Type I Double Eagles were the original design. Minted between 1850 and 1866, with the back showing ‘Twenty D.’ and no motto on the coins. After a slight design change in 1866, the birth of the new Type II was born. Type I coins are a great addition to any set or legacy a person is building. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1936 Lynchburg MS67+ CAC . . . Sesquicentennial means 150 years, and in 1936 that’s exactly what this coin commemorated, 150 years of Lynchburg Virginia. On the front of the coin has the portrait of Lynchburg native and former Secretary of the Treasury Senator Carter Glass, the irony of this is he objected to the idea of portraits of living men on coins. As beautiful as this coin is it barely misses finest known in MS67+ CAC. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1935 Peace Dollar MS66+ CAC . . . As can be inferred from the name, the Peace Dollar was created with a focus towards the peace that the United States was seeking following the first World War. With only 9 Peace Dollars from 1934 ever grading higher than this example in MS66+ CAC, finding one in a finer condition is close to a impossible. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1935 Hudson MS67 CAC . . . One thing is certain about antique silver coins, their toning over the years gives them each their own unique look. In this case of the Hudson Commemorative celebrating 150 years of Hudson New York, the almost rust like toning around the edges. From our experience the coins that take on the most beautiful and unique tones have collectors and investors alike go crazy over. Unfortunately for all you collectors and or investors out there, there’s just not a lot of these to go around, at most only 8 of you would be able to add a piece like this to your collection in its second finest known. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1884 – CC $20 Liberty MS-62. . . . You’d be very lucky to get you hands on one of these! With a mintage of only 81,139 and a population of 7, this 1884 is a true once in a lifetime type coin! Most people who own $20 Liberties have some coins in grades like MS-63 or higher. This 84 is not one of those, it doesn’t exist in 63 or any higher grades. We like to call that “finest known”! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1883 V Nickel PR65 Cameo . . . Liberty Head Nickels, aka “V” Nickels due to the roman numeral 5 on the reverse were minted from 1883-1913. Their proof forms have some of the rarest mintages of all time, for example, the first year of issue 1883 has a mintage of only 6,783. What’s unique about the first year 1883, is that there are actually two first years of issue, one without Cents, and this one With Cents. So, here’s the hardest part, being an owner of 1 of the 11 total graded in Proof 65 Cameo CAC. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1930 S $10 INDIAN GOLD PCGS MS64+ . . . After striking the 1920-S eagles, the San Francisco Mint went a full decade before producing the 1930-S issue, the last mint-marked member of the Indian Head eagles. Only 96,000 examples of the coin were produced. Many, many want a 1930-S but very few will actually obtain this piece. This particular coin that is displayed is a MS64+ CAC featuring the PCGS gold shield is a population 1. The owner of the collection that holds this coin owns all bragging rights. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1873-CC Trade Dollar MS61 . . . The trade dollar series began in 1873 as the United States was looking to combat the influence of the Mexican peso in international trade. The piece shown is not only a first year issue, but is also from the famed Carson City Mint. As the coins were to be used in international trade, a lot of the pieces found are either in poor condition due to frequent handling, have chop-marks, or were melted down. The trade dollar shown in this picture is 1 of only 9 coins that NGC and PCGS have graded in a Mint State 61. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1895 Barber Half Dollar PR66+ CAM CAC . . . The Barber Half Dollar is one of the most recognized and collected antique coin series of all time. This one is particular is amazing! With only 880 coins ever minted there just isn't many to start with. This specimen is one of the finest known examples with only 3 grading MS66+ CAM. It is truly amazing to see coins like this only become greater over time. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1908-S $10 Indian MS63 . . . It’s a given that in any series a first or last year of issue is a key date and essential to any collection. The 1908-S $10 is exactly that, the very first year San Francisco struck a $10 Indian Gold. Unlike the Philadelphia and Denver mint, San Francisco would not make a No Motto variety that year, making it the only 1908 to be consistently struck with the same design for the entire year. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1911-D $2.50 Indian MS66 . . . The 1911-D $2.50 is often called the “KING” of the set. Because of it’s low mintage and overall rarity in uncirculated condition. This particular date and grade is going to be very difficult to obtain. Only 6 coins exist with only a MS-66+ better. This specific coin is pedigreed because it was a part of the top sets ever assembled inside the T. Price Collection. When these top sets are sold off it gives the next top collector or investor a shot at becoming the King of Kings. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
2008-W Burnished Platinum American Eagle MS70 Burnished Platinum Eagles were all minted at the West Point Mint and only for a very short period of time. With only three dates that were minted, it makes set building very easy to accomplish. The coins started in 2006 and ended in 2008 with denominations of $10, $25, $50 and $100. This series has some of the lowest original mintages of probably any coin you’ve ever heard of and it’s pretty remarkable the price points of each piece. This 2008-W $25 Eagle is the SECOND LOWEST minted coin in the ENTIRE series with a whopping total original mintage of 2,481 and is a last year of issue coin. Key date pieces are some of the most sought after and did I mention it’s a PERFECT MS70? It is pure beauty enclosed in an NGC casing for protection. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1915 $2.50 Indian MS66 . . . It doesn't get much finer than a rose gold 1915 $2.50 Indian in MS66 condition. As a matter of fact, neither NGC nor PCGS have ever graded a 1915 in a higher grade than the one seen here. With a combined population of 18, this rarely handled "top of the pop" puts a set in an entirely different language. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1887 $3 Princess Gold AU58 . . . Princess Gold… Really, they should be called “Queen” because this series rules! Typically, when you look at most gold coins from our country, you see tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands if not millions of one particular coin mintage. BUT, this series changes that altogether. The absolute MOST minted coin in the series was at a whopping 138,618 and that was the first year of issue, which drastically dropped after that date. For example, the 1887 Princess displayed here has a total original mintage of only 6,000 coins. Just think about how hard it is to get your hands on a piece in this condition! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique #conservative
2020-W Palladium Burnished MS70 . . . Before 2017 there had never been a U.S. coin made of Palladium. Since then the anticipation for the next year’s coin has grown well beyond the rare mintages. What’s a unique quality about this series is that each coin made is a completely different strike from the previous. Finally in 2020 the highly anticipated West Point minted Burnished arrived. With so much demand, and anticipation the Mint’s website sold out in just a few minutes. With a mintage of 10,000 there was just not enough to go around. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique #conservative
1999 With the W $5 Gold Eagle MS70 . . . The year was 1999… There was panic and confusion happening all over the country. What kind of damage could Y2K do to our economy? To the market? The computer systems? Because of the economic scare, the fear pushed so many into purchasing gold for protection. Due to the haste and urgency to create as many Gold Eagles as possible, the Mint accidentally made a big oops! An oops that would land both the $5 and $10 Gold American Eagles they stamped a W on unfinished and unpolished Proof dies on one of the leading coin books on the market. Roughly 6,000 coins for each denomination leaked out into the market and by the time they realized what had happened, it was too late. Featured in the ‘Top 100 U.S. Modern Coins’ book, the $5 piece is ranked #34 and the $10 piece is ranked #24. This particular piece displayed is a PERFECT condition and is by far one of the hardest Gold Eagles to get your hands on. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1866-S $20 Liberty AU58 . . . For anyone building a $20 Liberty set, you know how important the 1866 is. Being not only the first year issue to the Type 2’s, this was the year the Motto “In God We Trust” was first placed on the coins. The appeal doesn’t stop there. The 1866-S holds the 3rd rarest spot of all the Type 2 $20 Liberties. A true cornerstone piece to all $20 gold pieces. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique

1866 $3 Princess Gold AU58 . . . Princess Gold or $3 Gold are some of the most undervalued areas on the Gold market. When compared to the original mintage and populations, it’s truly mind blowing how affordable they are to date! The Civil War went from 1861-1865 and this piece was minted the year following our victory! Original mintage of 4,000 it is honestly one very difficult coin to get your hands on. This piece is stunning and rich. The gold is a hint of rose and pewter and accents the Princess’ face beautifully. The feathers and strands on her hair are so strikingly detailed, it’s no wonder this historical piece is so sought after. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique
1856 $3 Princess MS62 . . . Would you just look at that? Look at it. The beauty you're looking at is what's known as a Princess Gold coin. Minted between 1854-1889 (only a handful from San Fran, one from New Orleans, and one from the famous Dahlonega mint) in Philadelphia and dominates in the catergory "rare gold". The 1856 featured here has an original mintage of 26,010 and with it being 165 years old still graded in a MS62 condition. Unbelievable! Never heard of a $3 Gold Princess coin? Not surprised, they're THAT hard to come by! #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique #conservative
1936-D Columbia MS68 CAC . . . Just like the palm tree on the South Carolina state flag, the most fitting symbol of the state for the obverse of the Columbia commemorative coin is the palm tree. This coin was minted to celebrate the sesquicentennial (150 years) anniversary of the founding of the city of Columbia. Columbia was chosen after the original capital city was deemed unsafe and vulnerable from assault by sea. The front features the figure of Justice standing between the old state house and the new state house. One look at this beauty and you know why its only two grade points from perfect. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique #conservative
1844-O $10 Liberty AU55 . . . Gold minted in the southern states will always remain highly sought after among collectors and investors. This one is exciting because NGC has graded less than 400 of these in all grades. New Orleans coins were heavily traded and most all of them were melted down in 1933. It's amazing to see coins like this. If they could only tell there story of where they've been and who owned them over the years. #firstfidelityreserve #stacking #coincollector #antiques #collectibles #numismatics #retirementplans #physicalmetals #tangibleassets #retirementgoals #coinstagram #worldcoins #oldcoins #numismatica #numismatist #gold #money #silverstacking #currency #unique #conservative
