While we are still getting more ship done than ever, we really miss our office, our colleagues, our clients, and generally loving/annoying each other day in and day out.
Our good friends (and partners) at Shopify have launched a new POS that will help independent retailers grow their business in strange times and better times alike. Expect tools that create a unified experience in-store and online, offer loyal customers a little something extra, and a whole lot more (see: streamlined operations, customizable checkout, unified reporting and inventory features). Need help? Want to learn more? Let us know.

POS System - Grow your Business with Shopify's Retail POS System
We are in the midst of some heavy times. It’s heart-wrenching to see the businesses we love struggling right now. We are committed to helping you find ways to succeed during this time of transition into a new normal. For us internally, that means operating remotely for the time being to keep our team and clients safe and healthy, while doing what we can to “flatten the curve.” For our clients, that means supporting them through this however we can. If you're a brick and mortar looking to move online, we are offering free consults to help advise you on what you can do to stay afloat. From press and strategy to transitioning your shop online—we're open. Because the only way through this is together. #theonlywaythroughistogether
The proof is in the tin. Our friends and clients at Little Red Cup Tea were included in Real Simple's December issue featuring “50 Great Gifts Under $50”.

For an e-commerce agency like us, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and holidays, in general, are like our Super Bowl. We love helping clients like Little get it right by creating loyalty all year round and staying connected to customers from away. Steve Pogson, our founder, spoke to the Portland Press Herald last week about how Maine businesses can re-engage summer tourists and keep a good thing going. You can read about it in the paper or online. Pairs well with coffee and pie.

Maine retailers plug into online connections to boost their holiday sales
Sweet sweet sax and small-batch sauce. You probably know Evan Smith from the band Bleachers, but did you know he makes vegan-friendly hot sauce in Maine? We had a lot of fun designing the new #EvansRockinHotSauce site on #Shopify. Take a look, the site is live and the sauce is good.

So you’re not on Shopify? No sweat. We provide comprehensive platform migration with an eye for detail. We handle everything from product descriptions to customer histories and URL redirects, swiftly and carefully. Take a scroll through some clients of ours that made the digital leap to @Shopify: @hyperlite_mountain_gear (featured here), @tandemcoffeeroasters, @lwshoes.
Give the American people what they want. Pie. The good folks over at Tandem Coffee (our clients and friends) are offering a sweet menu of festive treats for the holidays. Give their takeout menu a scroll (tandemcofffee.com) or pay for pie IRL the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving. A percentage of all pre-order sales will be donated to Four Directions Development Corporation, an organization that supports the healing and strength of the Indigenous communities of the Wabanaki Confederacy.
A few months ago, respected Maine footwear retailer Lamey Wellehan Shoes came to us in a bit of a bind: they needed to make a jump to a modern #ecommerce platform, and fast. We put on our boots and got to work navigating unique challenges presented by legacy systems and challenging integration requirements. In the span of just two months, we developed a website that mirrored their old one in terms of functionality, but with updates to layout and design elements and brand new systems for just about every aspect of their web business. We’re thrilled to have had a part in this project and to now be working with Lamey Wellehan Shoes to continue to bring their digital dreams to life.

Our friends and partners at @boutiquelittle have incredibly loyal customers. So loyal in fact, that they asked us for a hand in strategizing a rewards program that would delight them with every purchase. After mulling over their options and taking their goals (hopes and dreams) into consideration, we set them up with a customizable program that they could align seamlessly with their brand colors and character. Customers can earn a little love by placing orders, having birthdays, and engaging on social media. In return, their Little points can earn them friendly discounts, and free shipping. "A Little Love" launched back in November, sign up and see the perks flow!
