Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating weekend shift, on call rotation weekly
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the schedule for FirstLight HomeCare clients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual highly recommended, english priority(can speak and understand both spanish and english)
- Prior scheduling experience required
- HHA or CNA preferred, occasionally you will have to help a client
- Be familiar with Computer skills
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Level 2 Background screening ( we can discuss this more at an interview)
- CPR certified, must have before hired
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understands and adheres to established FirstLight HomeCare policies and procedures.
* Answering telephone calls courteously and professionally
* Creates, scheduling data, maintains staff schedules.
* Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability.
* Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
* Takes calls after hours and weekends to handle emergencies, scheduling issues, and client referrals and intakes.
* Goes to shifts that have not been filled or need coverage asap.

The right candidate will have professional caregiving experience and able to provide proof of this, recruiting experience, great social skills and energetic. Ability to speak spanish in addition to fluent in English is a bonus.
