Our FirstSpotlight this month goes to Karen Stenoien. Karen has been working for FirstService Residential since November of 2013. As an HR Generalist, Karen says the people are her favorite part of the job, hands down. “If I can help find a solution or somehow make a situation better for someone, that is my driver.” Before working at FirstService Residential Karen worked in customer service and at a staffing agency supporting executives, safety initiatives, and leaves of absences.
At home, Karen says her biggest hobby is chasing her 2.5-year-old around on whatever thing with wheels he happens to jump on! She also enjoys playing soccer, running, reading, and listening to podcasts.
