CHARLES C. FISCHER, DDS, FAGD
Drs. Fischer have been providing exceptional dental care in the Centreville area for over 25 years! Dr. Charles Fischer is originally from Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Michigan State University in 1981 and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After graduation, he was accepted into and received certification from an accredited general practice residency with the Veterans Administration. This program provided extensive postgraduate training in the areas of periodontics (gum disease), endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crown and bridges), and oral surgery. He also received extensive postgraduate training in orthodontics, endodontics, laser treatment, sleep dental medicine, and implant dentistry. Dr. Fischer received his fellowship with Academy of General Dentistry in 1994. He has also been a scientific presenter at the Maryland Dental Association.
Dr. Fischer is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the International Association of Orthodontics, the American Association of Functional Orthopedics and Orthodontics, the Northern Virginia Implant Society, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. He is also a past-president of the USDI Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club.
When not providing care for his patients, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys golf, skiing, scuba diving, and cycling.

KATHERINE B. FISCHER, DDS, FAGD
Drs. Fischer have been providing exceptional dental care in the Centreville area for over 25 years! Originally from Michigan, Dr. Katherine Fischer graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985. Dr. Fischer was certified in General Dentistry after her residency program in General Practice at the Hospital Center at West Virginia University. This residency provided her with extensive postgraduate training in various areas of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, laser treatment, implant dentistry, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Fischer has welcomed her comprehensive education in same-day crown design and fabrication as well, allowing us to provide a service to patients that few in the area can claim. In 1994, she received her fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Fischer has volunteered for many years as part of the Virginia Dental Health Foundation, traveling to rural and underserved areas to provide free dental care for indigent residents. She was featured in an issue of a national publication after volunteering in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. In addition, she is a member of a number of professional organizations and associations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Implant Society, the Virginia Dental Association, the World Clinical Laser Institute, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
When she is not helping her patients improve their smiles, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also is fond of scuba diving, skiing, traveling, spending time at the gym, gardening, and making pottery in her free time.
