Lots of progress on this Home!Sanded off the factory finish on the white oak floors. Removed the red oak bullnose installed by others and changed it to white oak. @procoat We finally finished up our walnut restoration project. Replaced an annoying red oak bullnose with the proper species. And sanded these floors better than ever. They were installed poorly but they still look amazing even with the large gaps. But it is a shame walnut is a very stable wood and isn’t usually gapped but a wet subfloor and dry wood will make that happen. Floors are a huge investment and should not be undertaken by amateurs posing as legitimate flooring installers.
