Dr. Florence Wright is a board-certified radiation oncologist at UCLA. Dr. Wright earned her medical degree at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She subsequently completed specialty training in Radiation Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she also served as Chief Resident. Her areas of clinical expertise include palliative radiation, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT, the treatment of breast, prostate, lung, central nervous system, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and head & neck cancers. Dr. Wright is particularly interested in quality of life following cancer treatment, with focus on female sexual health after pelvic radiation, and the psychological impacts of cancer. She excels in patient communication and takes pride in helping each of her patients reach a clear understanding of their illness, their options, and their emotions.
