We are asked all the time what home improvements should I do first? Sure we're biased but hear us out. Lets say you live in your home for 10 years. If you replace your windows and doors in year 1, you should see approximately $460-600 in utility savings and up to 40% off your home owners insurance with a full wind mitigation. Now times that by 10 years and you will have saved enough to nearly pay for your windows. Now reselling the house puts more equity in your pocket. If you do the bathroom or kitchen remodel instead, you're not recouping anything until you sell your home. To make matters worse, most kitchen/bath remodels only return 60% of your initial investment. Plus will your selection still be in style in 10 years when you go to sell? So we recommend replacing items with the biggest return on your investment first! This way it can help pay for the other projects in the house. Below are some examples of our work and look forward to working with you soon. Message us on Facebook or give us a call at (239) 308-6868 to schedule your free quote with a Geek. No high pressure, just good advice!
Thank you for the kind words Dan! We're happy we could help.

Have had my new windows in my condo for a week now and couldn't be happier. The three main reasons I replaced my old ones were for storm protection, insulation, and outside sound reduction. Two of those reasons have already proven themselves. The noticeable reduction in sound and the much cooler temp in the office I spend most of my time in has been highly satisfying. I honestly didn't expect such a difference! Everyone I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Monica started things off by showing me the choices of windows and answering any questions I had. Steve stopped in to double check sizing and finalize paperwork. Dan installed my windows and Mike called to check out any concerns or questions after installation. As I said at the beginning, two out of three reasons I got new windows have paid off. I'm not wishing for a hurricane of course, but knowing I have some of the best windows made for storm protection gives great peace of mind for reason number one. If you are thinking of new windows for your home or condo be sure and give these folks a call. I know you'll be happy you did!

The window geeks came to our house yesterday to reinsulate the attic and we had to add a comforter to our bed last night as the new insulation dropped the temp by about 3 degrees. They were prompt, efficient, very polite, and thorough, cleaning up perfectly after finishing the job. Attaboy Geeks!

With a name like Florida Window Geeks many customers are unaware that we not only offer Accordion Shutters, but we build them in house! This allows us to choose the materials used and offer a system that will not only stand up to Category 5 Hurricanes but also last the test of time. Locking devices are stainless steel and all possible areas where the stainless steel is in contact with aluminum have been treated with the very best coatings and isolators available today. As an added benefit our accordions have the tightest blade stack in the industry so when not in use, they are tucked away without taking away from your home's appearance. Call us at (239) 308-6868 or message us on Facebook for your free quote with a Geek! 🤓
We love customer feedback like this. Florida Window Geeks was based on one main goal...not profits, not status or rewards, but Customer Satisfaction. We’re in this for the long haul and look forward to being SWFL’s #1 choice for their Window and Hurricane Protection needs.

Posted On Thursday 4/2/2020 - Colorado State University just released their latest forecast for the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season. They are expecting an active hurricane season with 16 named storms, 8 hurricanes and 4 major hurricanes. You can read the CSU seasonal forecast at https://tropical.colostate.edu/media/sites/111/2020/04/2020-04.pdf .
Their forecast is very similar to the one we issued back on March 10th in which we are forecasting 15 named storms, 8 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes. You can read our seasonal forecast at https://crownweather.com/index.php/discussions/2020-atlantic-caribbean-gulf-of-mexico-hurricane-season-forecast-issued-march-10/ .
We know what you're thinking, 2020 has been quite the year to say the least. From viruses, elections, and the most active hurricane season in history. We dodged many scares and we are thankful. With that said, many people we speak with want to wait till next hurricane season to tackle their projects. Hear us out...every manufacturer we deal with has been under severe delays and have incurred extra costs dealing with these new restrictions. This unfortunately is causing price increases on all materials starting the first of the year. Now if your not looking to make any changes for a few years we understand, this message is for those waiting for next spring/summer. Now's the time to get your order in as some items are taking 3 months just to be manufactured.
We can help by showing you all kinds of different options based on your needs and budget. From impact windows and doors to shutters...we do it all! We can customize a quote to help you get exactly what you need with the peace of mind you can trust from a 5 star rated company. You won't find many negative reviews on the Geeks, go ahead and try to find them. It's not because we're perfect...we're not, we're humans like everyone else, we just care more than the rest and want to make sure you're as happy as can be. So don't let procrastination cost you more, give us a call at (239) 308-6868 or message us on Facebook. Tell them Joe sent you for a Free Ring Doorbell with any purchase! 🤓
Home and Garden show all set for tomorrow 😅. If you are looking for something to do this weekend or looking for a window promotion come see us at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda.

We are loving our new PGT windows from Window Geeks. Our 1987 house threw the installation team a huge curve-ball with unexpected construction and rot from years of leaky windows. Fernando and Gianko did an awesome job.
