Due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases now plaguing New York City and the anticipated surge of a 2nd wave, we are now entering a new phase of COVID-19 response and are once again in need of experienced Critical Care, Emergency Room and Medical Surgical RN’s for 12-hour flex per diem shift opportunities in our facilities.
As you know, many food pantries have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The amount of people needing assistance has grown significantly, and this has resulted in longer lines, and a shortage of food and care packages. To do their part to benefit our community and others in need, our Department of Radiology coordinated a successful food drive. A total of 500 pounds of pasta, rice and canned vegetables were collected from Flushing and Jamaica Hospital combined. All donations were sent to the South Asian Council for Social Services. #Community #InThisTogether #FlushingHospital
